English: NEWPORT, R.I. (Sept. 16, 2016) The amphibious transport dock ship Pre-Commissioning Unit John P. Murtha (LPD 26) arrives at Naval Station Newport in preparation for the Chief of Naval Operations' 22nd International Seapower Symposium (ISS) at U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. More than 180 senior officers and civilians from more than 110 countries including many of the senior-most officers from those countries' navies and coast guards, are attending the biennial event Sept. 20-23. This year's theme is "Stronger Maritime Partners," and will feature guest speakers and panel discussions to explore the common security challenges of maritime nations.
