English: Fort Augustus. View of Fort Augustus, and Loch Ness.
The land at least as far as the workers camp belongs to the Glen Doe(beg) Estate which consists mainly of blanket bog and heather moorland. The buildings nearest the camera are temporary accommodation blocks for construction workers on the Glen Doe Hydro Project. The green field nearest the camera to the left of these buildings is used as an airfield occasionally, for private light aircraft. |
